WEEKLY REVIEW

Kendall- Despite falling to Riley this week, Kendall retains his number one spot in the power rankings. His 92 points was fifth best this week behind David Johnson and an unlikely good showing from the Lions’ D. Consistency is key, and throughout the season Kendall has shown he is the most consistent and it’s paying off. I expect Kendall to pull out a W against Alex this week and lock down the number one seed in the playoffs.

Trevor- Trevor earned his third straight win this week, moving to 6-5 with a playoff spot to lose. His WRs stepped up this week, compensating for an average performance by his star RBs. Trevor is looking at a tough matchup against a new and improved Brandon lineup, but with Zeke and Russ anything is possible. If there is any fault in Trevor’s team, it’s that he is not deep, like at all. However, barring any injury to one of his top 5 Trevor is just as much a contender as anyone.

Josh- Josh earned his fourth straight loss this week after falling to Julian by 22. This is also the third week in a row that Trevor outscored Josh. At 6-5, for the first time this season Josh is flirting with missing playoffs. I don’t know if he changed his cereal or started going on walks, but whatever changed Josh needs to figure it out. Luckily with how competitive the league is, Josh only needs to win one more to secure a spot, especially since he holds the highest scoring tiebreaker. He should be fine, but the post season looks bleak.

Julian- With an impressive 111 point showing for his second win in a row, Julian is one of the hottest teams in the game and I don’t see him slowing down. With what I still believe is the best RB duo in the league and a nice QB squad, Julian is primed and ready for the playoffs. With the second-seed up in the air, Julian is as prepared as anybody to earn it. I predict a sizeable win over Bryce this week and a good matchup against Trevor in week 13.

Alex- Despite his one point loss to Trevor this week, Alex put up 94 this week, moving down one spot to number five. Losing AJ Green could prove costly depending upon his expected return, however, Dez Bryant has proven to be more than worthy of a WR1 spot. At 6-5, anything can happen but with Kendall and Kyle left on the schedule, it’s going to be a tough haul for playoffs.

Brandon- Brandon won the shit show of week eleven, beating Bryce 76-70 to move to 6-5. Brandon left a lot of points on the bench in week eleven, but he has the athletes to be a threat to beat anybody. Call me clueless but I don’t know why the hell Jay Ajayi is predicted to score a stupid amount of points this week. I suppose we will see, but with perhaps the hardest remaining schedule Brandon’s team needs to step up if they want to see week 14.

Kyle- Although he beat me this week, Kyle is still ninth in scoring and tied with most of the league at 6-5. His W breaks a two-game skid after his team was red hot in the middle of the season. With the Vikings defense and Aaron Rodgers carrying the weight, Kyle somewhat lacks balance however it hasn’t mattered for most of the season. Playing Riley this week and Alex in week 13, I expect him to make playoffs but who knows how far he will get from there.

Bryce- I’m gonna slack on this review because not even Cole reads this. At 5-6 I don’t see Bryce making playoffs but mathematically anything is possible. His most important role for the remainder of the season will be playing spoiler, hopefully knocking out Julian or Josh.

Riley- With an unexpected win over Kendall I week eleven, Riley impressed scoring 96 points. While it is mathematically impossible for Riley to make playoffs this year, I personally know he takes joy in beating others, especially the playoff hopeful Kyle team in week 12.

Jack- At 4-7 playoff shots are all but gone for my team. Playing Josh and Riley I would love to win for bragging rights sake but again not all that consequential for the league. I think it would be hilarious if Josh lost 6 straight and missed playoffs though so that’s my goal.
