WEEKLY REVIEW

Josh- Mama there goes that man. Josh put up 114 this week, bringing his PPG average back into the triple digits. With Brandon’s week seven mishap, Josh is now the undisputed scoring leader. At 6-1 Josh is cruising straight for a first-round bye in the playoffs. The only question is, in what round will he choke?

Kendall- Consistency is key as always. After another top three team choked, Kendall’s team continued to do their thing and for that he earned the number two spot. Despite his loss to Trevor, Kendall put up 92 points, is third in scoring, and STILL hasn’t scored below 86 points this season. That’s brazy. Kendall is a playoff lock but I still believe that unless he starts putting up big numbers he’s knocked out sooner rather than later.

Julian- With a win this week, Julian has moved into the 5-way tie for second amongst the league. His running backs are still better than yours and no, there is no argument against that. He has the potential to beat anybody, but with a somewhat low ceiling compared to the other powerhouses don’t expect anything over 110. Also with trades this week look for a new lineup come Sunday.

Brandon- Brandon faltered slightly this week, scoring 70 points in a loss against Kyle. In the long run I don’t see this becoming a common occurrence, but in a league this tight he had nowhere to go but down. His roster is still solid and he will win games along the way, however, at 3-4 his playoff spot is far from guaranteed.

Trevor- My man Trevor is hitting his stride at the perfect time. In a league this tight, the second first-round bye is still up for grabs and why not ole T-Bone Magone? Trevor fields a very balanced lineup, meaning that should one guy go down, he is still a threat. Must be something in the water over at SWOSU because it sure ain’t the girls.

Alex- After dropping 65 in a shit fest last week, Captain Ahab crawled out of the whale’s stomach and scored a solid 104 to get a W on rivalry week. Between Luck, Forte, and Green, Alex could have quite a squad. However, when your team depends on a small group of players it’s also easy to flop. The future is unsure for Alex, but it’s in his own hands.

Kyle- Kyle’s team continues to look up. After starting 0-2, Kyle has won 4 out of his last 5 to put himself in second place. The man likes winning but he’s still 9th in scoring and one of two teams who have not scored in the triple digits this season. If he continues to win it won’t matter, but some of these powerhouses could have him in trouble.

Bryce- Bryce has lost 3 of his last 4 and his scoring continues to drop. After spending much of the season in second place, I don’t expect him to be there much longer. The trend isn’t good, and with Beckham’s average performance of late his roster is just lacking something. This week’s match up against Kyle gives him the opportunity to seize second place or let it fall through his fingers.

Jack- Ayeeee I don’t know what’s going on!! Getgetgetget! Front office changes have now found my team a new coordinator of the D ;) and this is the second week in a row I’m coming off of a trade. Hopefully change is a good thing and I can get my shit together. I’m tryna make playoffs know wha I mean???

Riley- Riley’s team is definitely on the come up, but the fact of the matter is he is still 1-6, and last in scoring. Playoffs is highly unlikely at this point but with another W he’s eyeing ninth in power rankings next week.
